He has earned certifications in Deaf Culture, Deafhood and taught Deaf Culture courses and sign language classes. He was the Chair of Sign Language Instruction & Certification Committee at Canadian Cultural Society of the Deaf (CCSD), and currently serves on Ontario Ministry of Education’s ASL as a Second Language Curriculum Expert Working Group Committee. As a past vocational rehabilitation counsellor, community facilitator, presenter, collaborator and motivational speaker, Gary is known for leading high-energy and powerful workshops.
